    For 1991's 'Dangerous,' Michael replaced Quincy Jones with producer Teddy Riley, the pioneer of new jack swing. The album sold 32+ million copies worldwide.

  • Black or White had a record-breaking premiere

    On November 14, 1991, the 11-minute 'Black or White' short film premiered simultaneously in 27 countries to an estimated audience of 500 million people — one of the largest video premieres ever.

  • The Dangerous World Tour funded charity

    Michael donated all of his personal profits from the 1992–93 Dangerous World Tour to his newly founded Heal the World Foundation, supporting children's causes worldwide.
